another chlorine question???

I would rather work with the BBB method, I think it works. I got
some rather dumb advise from a kid who works at Leslies and
does not have a pool. They are just programed to answer you.
my Question is this. If I have to add a gallon of bleach a night, How
is it cheaper then the pucks? ( I open my pool the 3rd week of May
and close the 2nd week of Sept.).
Is it only in the extreme heat you have to add every day?
