Intex 6110 on a timer

Postby BigDogues » Sat 18 Aug, 2007 08:01

Hi all, I wave an Intex 15' pool with a 6110 chlorine generator connected to the the stock pump that came with the pool. I find the directions for the 6110 to be quite confusing. I'd like this system to be as simple as possible to operate if I have to be away from home and my wife has to run the system. Should this system be put on a timer or do you just run it and the filter pump as you need it? Can you run the pump by itself with out the generator being turned on?
If I had to guess, it looks like you might put the filter on a timer to run a couple of times a day and then manually run the generator cycle every 3 days or as required.
Can anyone help straighten me out here?
Thanks in advance.
