Travertine as pool waterline

Postby ninny1963 » Sat 22 Sep, 2007 17:28

We are updating our inground swimming pool. We want to put travertine tumble stone around the waterline of the pool but everyone is telling us this can not be done. We have a salt system. Can we install the tavertine?????

Thanks,
Cindy

we have used 6x6 travertine tiles ourselves and even 16x16 tumbled travertine tiles for a negative edge wall, so it can be done. Just make sure you use water sealing additive to your grout. Good Luck
