Hello.

Please, I am trying to find out if and how often pool water in an above ground pool should be emptied and replaced.

If you backwash your pool regularly you need never empty the pool. After all, you are replacing some of it after each backwash.

If the pool turns into a swamp through neglect, draining is the quickest and easiest way to get the pool clean and blue.
