air leaking form inflatble pool ring

i have this really big pool and i and at the top of the pool is this big inflatble ring that i use my air compresser to fill up but it been leaking slowly and i tried finding the hole pouring water on it to find bubbles but i can find the leak i had this one idea of blowing colored smoke into it while airing it up so i cloud find the leak but my cousin said it isnt possible do you guys have any other ideas

Dishwashing detergent in a small bucket of water. Make the solution quite strong. Use a sponge or soft brush to spread it around. The leak will "blow bubbles".

thanks that better than the half baked plan my aunt came up with she said get dish soap and water and spread it around i looked at her like stupid that creates bubbles
