Kreepy not moving

Good day

We have a problem with our Kreepy. It will suck and move along the pool for about 2 minutes and then it will stop and do nothing.

When we take the pipes out of the weir, you can still feel the suction from the pump, but kreepy does not move.

Any idea what can be wrong? We have replaced the sand and we backwash regurarly.

Please, advice really needed.

Have you checked/inspected hoses for leaks/tears?
when kreepy is running pull each hose still connected out of water & listen for air leak, replace if needed.

check kreepy parts, bottom foot pad which flatins out & will stop & go when bad.
kreepy flapper inside body, can crack/brake or get debris stuck in it.
My favorite which has driven some crazy is baffle plate that covers flapper & has round hole. When this goes bad it will pull back & forth.
This should be stiff & not move.
last thing swivel head assembly,which hoses hookup to at the end of kreepy. if it moves around & seems sloppy it's leaking & will even pull out very easy.
