Any experts on Salt/Chlorine systems here?

I have a few questions:

the "Pure&Clear" cell does NOT have a temp sensor on it, it only has 2 wires running to the cell. Does this mean that it must use the intrinsic voltage from the cell ?

How accurate would that be, especilly over time as the cell degrades?

I'm guessing that it calculates salt concentration (Go NoGo) by storing the temp value and measuring the current produced by X volts??

the Pure&Clear cell mounts on the pool wall, unlike all other cells that are inline - I have heard that the chlorine generators degrade the plastic pipes used nowadays?

Sorry - can't help with the technical details. We have had a salt chlorination pool for several years but have experienced repeated staining. has anyone else experienced this proble.?

Have you checked the water hardness? Also use some of the metal remover products.
