Older pool

Our 15 x 30 above ground pool needs a liner. The present liner was replaced 3-4 years ago. There are leaks (tiny holes) around the perimeter about the height the Aquadroid would hit when in use. I suspect the steel walls(15 years old)are rusted and abraiding the liner. I was going to tear down the pool when I received a pool supply catalog in the mail. This catalog offers foam wall lining material and foam cove moldings for the bottom. Total cost of 25 mil liner and foam materials is less than $500, certainly less than a replacement pool.
What are your thoughts/recommendations?

I bought the foam wall lining, coves and even a happy bottom floor pad and it makes me HAPPY!
