Losing water
Does backwashing cause the water level to go down?? We have backwashed alot today .We just opened the pool yesterday. The level is down about an inch from yesterday. Is this normal??

Swimming pool water loss
By backwashing you are dislodging the dirt from the filter and pumping it to waste. Water loss by backwashing is inevitable, the amount depending on the length and frequency of the backwash/ rinse.
