Pool Paint Bubbled

We recently painted our pool. We have done it before and were happy with the results. This time we washed with TSP, rinsed, performed acid wash, rinsed and then washed again with TSP, and followed with rinse. We waited until pool was dry (about 36 hours) applied paint. On the third day paint started to bubble. What did we do wrong. The weather was clear, dry and temps were in the 70's. Any help would be appreciated.

Either the paint was applied too thickly or the pool's surface was too warm when you painted.
