Cold weather piping

I need to install new equipment. My pool guy tells me he will use pipe that will not freeze. Is there such a product?

I have never heard of pipe that wont freeze. Its not the pipe you are worried about its the water inside of the pipe. The pipe doesnt freeze- the water freezes, expands and cracks the pipe. Plus, pipe around the equipment will be winterized when the rest of the underground plumbing is blown out. I dont know what your pool guy is trying to pull but regular schedule 40 PVC will be just fine.
