Pool still green

I filled up our pool monday and it was green right away, so I shocked it. It did not clear so I shocked it again. I have put algaeside, stableizer , and since then 6 more bags of shock. the test strip says very high FAC,ok to high total clorine, ok stableizer ok ph and alk. I don't know what to do now . should I just wait or should I shock more?

If the chlorine level is above 5ppm you don't need to add more chlorine. If the level falls rapidly shock again, otherwise I would give it a couple of days.
