Low Ph Hi TA
I have a gunnite pool approx. 15,000 gallons. My Ph is @ 7.4 and my TA is 150. According to my pool supply a TA of 140 is good in a gunnite pool, not the 100 max. recommended in the test kit. Any suggestions / comments?

Total alkalinity
A maximum TA for plastered pools is around 120ppm. Your TA of 150ppm is not excessive.
If you keep the pH at 7.2-7.4 you will not suffer the scaling effects of high pH/TA. Try to aim for 7.2 to offset the high TA.
