Mystic White II filter sand?

Getting my first pool up and running before school is out next week. I have a sand filter/pump system and found a place in Dallas that sells Mystic White II angular filter sand. Guy says it is the best on the market and filters down to 3-5 microns. Anyone here using it and how is it working?? Looks like less work.... u-s-silica.com
