Is acid washing something to be left to the professionals, or is it something I can learn to do with a little practice? I can't get rid of the calcium buildup on my tile with ANY tile descalers or cleaners. Anyone heard of scaletech plus? Thanks. :(

With a bit of time and a lot of care anyone do an acid wash.

Is Scaletech the electronic device you mean?

Scaletech plus is a new chemical that is supposed to clean off the calcium buildup without scrubbing. You fill up your pool above the calcium line and pour in 1 1/2 gal per 20,000 gal of water. Wait 2-4 weeks and the line should disappear. Add 4 oz's a month to maintain. Costs around $35.00 a 1/2 gal. I just tried it.
