water below skimmers

i just came home from three days away and the poolwater is 3-4 inches below the skimmer boxes. I freaked. It is Sunday and I can't reach any pool companies and my husband is away. Can anyone tell me what to do?!! HElP!!

Turn off the pool equipment. Check around for any obvious leaks in pool liner or pool equipment.

What type of pool do you have?

Raise the water level, turn on equipment (assuming you haven't run into a leak) and check for any leaks.
