Broken filter/pump??

We have an inground with a hayward sand filter/pump. We also have a slide and adjusted pressure so that we could get more flow on the slide. We left the house, turned off the slide and forgot to adjust the pressure back to the pool. This was left for about 2 hrs. Did we damage the pump?? The pressure is way down and we are having trouble getting it back? Any suggestions??
