Sand in Pool

Algae problems in swimming pool water.
Green (cloudy) water or slimy pool walls.
Black algae. Mustard algae. Pink or white pool mold.

Sand in Pool

There is about 2 cups of sand in front of each of the two output spiggets in the pool. This has never happened before?

Any idea of what this means?

You must have a sand filter. One of the laterals in the bottom of the filter is cracked.
