BAQUICIL OR OTHER CHEM?

Postby nanbeescar » Sun 14 May, 2006 11:43

We are getting a new in ground pool liner this year.

We had switched to Baquicil about 15 - 18 years ago and though we liked it fairly well because it seemed safer and easier on the eyes, hair, swim suits and so forth.

Now I am told that our pool is probably to large for Baquicil and we should use something like Bromine. By the end of July the water becomes costly and difficult to keep in shape. We live in Cleveland, Ohio.

Our pool is 18 x 36, about 22,000 gal of water.
I need a good suggestion on what is the best, safest and easiest to use.

Our last liner lasted 18 years using the Baquicil, should we stick to it or change?
