Poor suction in skimmer

I just had my pump replaced. It's working fine. Started vacuuming and the vacuum lost suction. I thought it might be the vacuum head or hose but there's no suction through the skimmer either. Baskets are clean. There's very little suction when I backwash or waste. HELP
