I opened my poo l5 days ago. It was a black swamp as usual (this is typical even when the professionals closed it I think it's because of the farm chemicals) and I used liquid cholrine, 10 gallons for a 24,000 gal pool. it didn't clear so I dumped in 10 more pounds of dry shock with clarifier over the next few days last being yesterday and have been vacuuming to waste and refilling the pool but the pool is still looking much better but quite green. I still cannot see the deep end. I have 300 people coming over in 2 days and am at my wits end! I have been running my filter 24/7, could it be not working properly? The cholrine reading has been above 10 total and above 5 @ least for more than 24 hour straight and intermittently that high for the last four days. THe rest is in pretty close range, Iv'e made some minor adjustments in alkalinity nad ph. Thanks for any suggestions.
