Pressure

Postby steq184 » Mon 27 Apr, 2009 12:31

I have just re-filled up my pool ready for the glorious English weather!!
The documentation that came with my pool states that the pressure should be around 1 bar and if it rises by 1 increment to backwash.
The only trouble I have is that the pressure on the filter reads 1 1/4 bar when the pumps turned off and rises to 1 3/4 when the pumps on, I have already backwashed and rinsed but no change.
Everything was working perfectly last season so what could the problem be?

I will guess that means 1 bar while the pump is running and if it moves up 1 mark then backwash. So if you are now reading 1 1/4 bar with the pump off you gauge is suspect.
