No chlorine

Chlorinating, maintaining the right chlorine levels,
chlorine problems. Dichlor, trichlor, cal hypo, bleach,
granules, chlorine pucks and chlorine sticks.

is it possible for too much antifreeze left in water lines to effect saitizers' ability to sanitize? i can't get any chlorine reading. pool emptied and filled with fresh water. shock gone in hours. any ideas?

People will need pool gallonage and others test levels to make a guess. Inability to maintain a chlorine level is most likely from excess organic load or high combined chlorine. Or you are trying to keep to low a level in a nice bright sunny pool with no stabilizer. Or maybe a Salt Pool with a low salt level.
