Leak in the quick-flange

Postby alexswlee » Mon 25 May, 2009 20:54

I removed the rubber gasket from the quick-flange connected to MiniMax 250 heater during winterization. I put them back two days ago to start running the pump and found water was drifting along the quick-flange. Thinking that may be the rubber gasket was not in the right position, I removed and put them back several times but in vain as water keeps leaking from the quick-flange. Any suggestion what causes the leak and how to solve the problem? Should I change the pair of new rubber gaskets? Thanks.
