Filter is a rusty color but water is clear

Stains on the pool surfaces, pool equipment
or on the swimmers, or off-color swimming pool
water. Discolored but clear pool water.

My Pool: 12,000 gal. above ground Intex metal frame pool.
Location: South Carolina

Hi Everyone-

We have a Intex 12,000 gal above ground swimming pool going on the 3rd year now.

Drained and refilled this year to swim. Shocked and have raised the PH level as it was low.
Now the first time we go to check the filter we have a rusty brown color to it looks like TEA and it will rinse off the first few times but then just changed the filter. Water in the pool is clear...... HELP!
I just want to prevent a problem before it starts :crazy:
