When to run pump

Postby jeff6898 » Sun 07 Jun, 2009 09:27

I am going to run my pump 12 hours a day instead of the 24 I been to help cut on the electric bill. IS it better to have in run during the day and off at night or the other way around?

Hi,

Some areas give you a better rate at night so you might check on that. I like to run mine for a few hours before swimming to clear the surface. You might run 6 hours at night and then off and then on again for 6 hours before your normal swimming time.

You can pick up extra trippers for the time clock to run more than once a day.
