Fiberglass pool bulges

Postby elgink » Fri 02 Jun, 2006 20:25

After just opening the pool for the season I've noticed several bulges on the bottom of the pool. They are raised hard bulges, 2-3 inches in diameter. The pool is 12+ years old, was nearly emptied 2 years when chemical build up was excessive - water was immediately (within 12 hours) replaced with fresh water. Wetter than usual spring (San Jose, Ca).
Appreciate any comments or suggestions.

not sure on the life span of a fiberglass but it sounds like you got the use of it. It might be time for a new pool. But I don't know much abour fiberglass pools.
