I have a Haward Auto Chlorine Feeder that is not working properly. It was working before and when the chlorine tabs finished and I replaced new ones... now Chlorine does not dispense. This is for an In-Ground Pool. Then now I did this
1. Close the sand filter
2. reset the control valve on the Hayward Auto chlorine feeder to 0 [Zero]
3. Start back the sand filter
4. wait for 1 min and then slowly turn the valve back to 1 then to 2 and then to 3.5 [max is 5] ususally I set it to 3.5... and the 12 Chlorine tabs are 3.5 inch last about nearly 8-9 days ... if it rains then I increase it.
5. Waited for nearly for 1 hour but still no go.
6. This is about less than a year old.
Do I need to add water to the auto chlorine feeder? Am I doing something wrong? Advise. Thanks... I might have missed a step or did a step differently. Any ideas?

You may need to take the unit out of line and see if you have any blockages. Get a pack of long pipe cleaners and push through the openings. It's only a small amount of water that actually goes through, but it gets superclorinated going through all those tablets.....
