What make's debris recirculate in my pool when i vaccum it?

i put new seal in vari-flow, took pump apart and cleaned it checked for holes in grates everything fine but when i vacum it a few minutes later there's debris all over bottom of pool what could be causing it? it is a de filter

Hi,

Are you getting DE back in the pool also? If not, I would recheck the seal you put in. Also, aside from the grids inside the filter, check the manifold for cracks. The grids plug into the manifold.
