Back from 3 day vacation, new pump won't start...help please

Hello, I need some quick help.

I just replaced my 1 hp pump motor approx 1.5 weeks ago and it was running perfectly. I went on vacation Saturday and came back Monday evening.

I ran the pump overnight friday/saturday to get a little extra chlorine into the system so that my pool wasn;t green when I got home.

Well when I got home, I hit the switch to turn the pump on....nothing.

The breaker wan't tripped and there were no sounds from the pump.

I am lost on this one...should I take the pump back for a new one?

No timer....

Breaker to switch to motor.

Was running fine when I shut it off 3 days ago...

Breaker is fine, Switch seems to be ok. I sure hope the motor didn't kill itself when I was gone

you need to have someone check power to switch and then from switch to motor.

Have power at the leads connected to the pump...

This one has me baffled.

I am taking the pump back tomorrow for a replacement, it's only 2 weeks old.

I wish I knew what magically happend while I was away.
