I have a painted plaster pool and for the last few days, have noticed that when I rub my finger on the surface of the ppol or sit on the steps of the pool in a dark swim suti, a chalky stain rubs off on my finger of coat ''Thanks

All epoxy films will chalk (break down from the UV rays of the sun and water chemistry) over a period of time. This is a natural degradation or “cleansing” of the top surface of the epoxy film
