De filters without bolts?

Postby tothe » Sun 16 Aug, 2009 19:40

i am looking at replacing my hayward de ec40 filter. does hayward or anybody else make filters that do not have the finger assembly bolt onto the tank with the 11 or 12 bolts. just wondering if there is an easier system and i am only replacing the filter not the pump or anything else. thanks

Hi,

Most DE filters will have some type of tank clamp held on by one nut. They are pretty simple.

Hayward has actually redesigned their new clamp system.

If this looks like it would be easier for you, we have these items in stock - DEX2420J1KIT
