Grubs and spiders in the pool

Postby kidagain » Sun 27 Sep, 2009 09:34

I have grubs, spiders and black water beetles in the pool by the hundreds for the past month. My pool is 5 years old and this is the first year that I have had grubs. I have had a very few spiders and black beetles in the past.

?? Are the grubs eating holes in the liner?
?? How do I control the grubs?

I plan on treating the yard big time today.

Thank You David

They cannot eat the liner.
Use a leaf scoop to get them out. Can you tell their source?

I too would recommend alot of chlorine and you may also want to shock your pool. This will allow the chlorine to work at its peak performance and hopefully your critters will be gone.
I found some great buys for chemicals.
