Hello, My pump went out, I think, it turns on sometimes and shuts down after about 2 hours. I am going to order my pump soon, but what can i do in the mean time? I dont want my water to turn green and dirty, what can I do in the mean time?

shock the pool with chlorine and add a triple dose of copper-free algaecide

My Pool: My pool is a lap pool. It is located at the back of my house and has a concrete surface. It has a water based paint and has a sand filter.

Same with pool user, you must use chlorine. Use sanitary pool chemicals.. :D
