clear green water after adding first shock treatment

We have just put up our pool this year and after adding shock to the untreated water it turned a clear sparkling green. No sign of algae but the water itself is clear and green. What can I do to clean it up?

try METAL MAGNET, our water has high iron, the chlorine turns it green.
