Adding Borates to Saltwater Pool

Howdy all!

Can you check my math? Going to do the Borate treatment to my pool

Pool info:
33k inground gunite, Saltwater. It’s in good shape. I keep
pH around 7.7,
TA around 80-100,
sweep & skim daily
TDS about 3k: not sure whether to trust the pool store (2700) or the salt strip! (3200)
Current borate, as measured at the pool store, is 4-5ppm

Going from the guide on this forum:
Adjust TA to 70-80, adjust pH to 7.4-7.6
12oz Borax +6oz Acid raises 1000gal 10ppm and neutralizes pH
33k gal: 1782oz Borax, 891oz Acid
1box = 76oz, 1gal = 128oz

*drumroll*
23.5boxes + 7 gal acid

Looking good?
Any suggestions before I pull the trigger??

For raising the Borates level to 50 ppm in 33,000 gallons, this is 1943 ounces weight or about 25-1/2 76-ounce boxes of 20 Mule Team Borax and 926 fluid ounces of Muriatic Acid (31.45% Hydrochloric Acid) or about 7-1/4 gallons. You can use The Pool Calculator for calculating these dosages.
