A tricky problem. I have checked out the website and forum but my problem seems wierd.
Pump and filter seem to work fine. Creepy krawly ticks away happily - suction is good. I put in a new sand filter 6 months ago and pressure was in the green. Now the pressure is lucky to get off zero.
At the moment the water is cloudy but I think thats a balance problem.
Any ideas about the low pressure and/or should i worry about it?
thanks
Peter

The problem is in the filter:
- the sand level has dropped or
- the sand has solidified leaving canals for the water to pass through.
Open the filter lid and tell us what you see inside.

Could be the filter was undersized and you blew out a load of fine sand.

Sounds like the same prob I recently had with our place in FL. The Pool Filter Cartridges had to be replaced.

Silly question: What position is your dial valve in? Should be in "filter" not recirc.

Add in the fact that the pressure gauges are known to fail - block off some of the return to see if the gauge responds. Although I would only do this after you try the suggestions above.
