anybody have problems with Pentair manual high pressure relief valve leaking where pressure gauge screws into relief valve? I've replaced mine 6 or 8 times since I got the DE filter. Always develops leak in same place the valve develops a crack at insertion point. I personally think they have a design flaw, although nobody at Pentair will fess up to it.

Could you be screwing the relief in too far? Next time you replace it, screw it in just until it doesn't leak water, then stop
Factory warranty service for Pentair, Jandy, Raypak, Polaris, and Paramount pool cleaning systems.
