newbie, needs input, pool not used/no water for 6 months.

hello everybody, im new to this site.
we are about to buy a house (short sale) with an in ground swimming pool which is average in size. we are here in California.
the house is 5 years old.

the swimming pool has no water for 6 months and not in use for 6 months.

do you think we will have a problem with the pool ? if so, how much will it cost us to make the pool back into good shape?
