New Skimmer pipe

I have to replace the pipe that come out of the bottom of the skimmer that goes to the pump in the garage. How far down do I have to dig the trench / bury the pipe? I live in the Toronto area.

You would need to contact the township to find out how far down you have to dig because of the freeze level.
