How do I know when to replace the liner?

Postby reko19 » Wed 07 Jul, 2010 15:31

Owned this pool for eight years. This year noticed some stain at the bottom of the pool. Tried scrubbing it off with a finger nail, no luck. Am I due for replacement? What are general signs of liner deterioration, how do I know when I need a new one?

Many Thanks.

Most people dont replace a liner till it starts leaking bad. 8 to 10yrs is the average a liner will last. If the liner is very brittle and has lost flexibility then its time for a new one.
