Jacuzzi Laser sand filter dial valve leaks

Postby kwiens » Sat 21 Aug, 2010 22:03

I took my dial valve apart after I needed to replace the "coupler" at the intake port in the top half of the dial valve. The intake port is the only one where they cement the coupler in at the factory. This actual took 2 tries as PVC cement did not bond to the dial valve at the first attempt. Next I used an epoxy glue. But I still have a problem as the dial valve leaks (between the 2 halfs) It appears that one can't buy the o rings for the dial valve, unless someone knows a source I can't find. The o-rings for the Laser in the catalogue are not for the inside of the of the dial valve. What can I do? What should I do to stop the leak?
