1 Skimmer stopped working

1 Skimmer stopped working

1 off my Pool skimmers has stopped sucking the other is fine. Any ideas please.

Do you have separate valves that operate them independently? If not, it's possible you have a clogged pool toy or clump of leaves in the stopped skimmer.

No they work together. do you have a method to unblock it ?

There is a tool you can get I believe hardware stores sell it. It looks like an airbag that hooks up to a hose, it expandes to the size of the pipe and compresses water pressure to blast it free. You will hook it up to the inside of the pump under the lid where it normally would come into the pump basket. If this doesn't work, you may need to call a service company out to unblock it.
