Does anyone have any recommendations for manual vacuums with their own bag and filter? I feel like way to much water goes out when I vacuum each week. Usually 30-45 minutes for a 16x32 in ground.

Re: Vacuum Recommendations
Don't vacuum to waste
Most people vacuum through a dedicated vacuum port or through their skimmer which directs their water through the filter and clean water comes back in the pool

Re: Vacuum Recommendations
Thanks Dennis. Had the pool 2 years and always vacuumed on waste most likely off something I read at that time. I've vacuumed twice now on filter then back washed and it's been wonderful and so much easier.

Re: Vacuum Recommendations
The only time to vacuum to waste is when it is heavily contaminated so you are not blocking your filter up unnecessary
You don't need to backwash every time you vacuum only when the pressure rises 20%-25% above the clean pressure
Good luck
