Backwash won't shut-off

Postby HogWild » Sun 26 Jul, 2009 16:08

I have a multiple position filter, and it recently started allowing about 1/2 gallon a minute of water escape through the backwash pathway, while the filter is in the filter selected mode. Running the selector valve through the other positions in an attempt to let the valve "seat" has not proved fruitful. Any thoughts?

replace your spider gasket in the multiport valve.
