psf25 filter maintenance
Hello,
You need to break down the filter and do a good cleaning on it. If it is a D.E. filter then tear it down and add the proper amount of DE to filter. If it is a Sand filter then yes you need to take all the sand out and add new sand. It is probably just so dirty that it wont help to just backwash.
Good Luck
