Hi all, I've got a 66,000 litre indoor pool.
I've been using 15% bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite) for a while, but now have found it's currently difficult to buy here in the UK, pretty much everyone is out of this product, and those that have this product has really expensive delivery options, like £50+ for 6 x 20 litres.
I've been looking at unstabilised chlorine, i.e. 65% calcium hypochlorite, is there any reason why I shouldn't be using this?
25kg of Calcium Hypochlorite is £100 including shipping
6 x 20 litres of Sodium Hypochlorite is £116 including shipping
Many thanks in advance!
Sodium Hypochlorite or Calcium Hypochlorite?

Re: Sodium Hypochlorite or Calcium Hypochlorite?
Calcium Hypochlorite puts calcium into your pool
Sodium Hypochlorite puts salt into your pool but never enough to make it salty
I suspect Covid has pushed up the price as bleach is a disinfectant
I use Dale Sauna but their prices have gone up as well
You could convert to a salt water pool (SWCG) where once you add the salt that's it. But be sure to get one twice the rated size for your pool because they are based on 24/7
