cch feeder

Im having issues with this cal-hypo feeder. I have a hard time keeping my chlorine residual above 1ppm, i have vinyl pools from 16k gallons all the up to 30k plaster pools.
My pools without cleaners get a ungodly amount of powder that is hard to keep up with most of these pools are getting a gallon of liqud acid a week but all are manually feed on a once a week basis, has anyone used cch new acid feeders?? any input would be helpful all the pools are crystal clear and look better than they did on trichlor but it drives me crazy.

Whats the problem with using sodium hypochlorite? Your issues are typical of Cal hypo.
