When adding Sodium Hypochlorite to my pool, is it OK to just walk around the pool parimeter and poor it in?
Or should I only add it to the deep end?
Or should I only add it near where filtered water is entering the pool?
Does anyone have any tricks to share that help avoid the spashing of bleach on you while pouring it in.

Open the bottle fully to make the pouring easier and you can do this opening with the bottle in the water to avoid splashing. See this thread for more info about that.
As for where to pour, it is best to pour slowly over a return flow at the deep end with the pump running. That will give the best mixing especially if you have a floor drain. If you have a vinyl pool without a floor drain (such as many above ground pools), then for extra safety brush the side and bottom near where you have poured so that you mix the chlorine thoroughly -- the chlorine is denser than the water and will settle to the bottom if not mixed.
