brown stains

We have a 34 ft round above ground pool. Our water is clear and we have been using chlorine tablets to keep the water clean. Now we have a light brown build up in the bottom of the pool. The main part of the stain is around the edges under the water, the middle also has a build up but only in spots. We have iron in our water ( well water) but when filling the pool placed a sock over the hose. Any advise on how to get ride of the junk on the bottom?
